Pewag Profilift Beta Lifting Point (PLBW)

The Pewag PLBW (Profilift Beta) is a premium screw-on lifting point made from high-strength alloy steel. It offers 360° rotation of the entire unit and 180° pivoting load ring, allowing precise load alignment thanks to a patented adjustable spring. Featuring a grade 10.9 hexagonal screw that’s crack-tested, secured against loss, and corrosion-resistant. With a 5:1 safety factor, serial-number marking, and full traceability, it’s ideal for heavy-duty lifting and lashing applications.

Metric thread sizes available: M8, M10, M12, M14, M16, M18, M20, M22, M24, M27, M30, M33, M36, M42, M48.

Description

The PLBW screwable lifting and lashing point is 360° rotatable with a load ring that can be moved through an angle of 180° and can be positioned at any required angle due to its replaceable and patented spring. In the permitted applications, this lifting point offers a five-fold factor of safety.

Each lifting point comes with an individual serial number and is marked with the admissible load capacity for the most unfavourable application mode allowing for an increased load capacity in the case of vertical loads.

PLBW lifting points incorporate a special hexagonal screw made from grade 10.9 material which is interchangeable and secured to prevent loss. The screw is 100% crack tested as well as covered with a chromate VI-free protection against corrosion and marked with the load capacity and thread size. It can be tightened with a hexagon wrench or spanner wrench.

Pewag Winner Profilift Beta is available with metric or UNC-thread types. The versions with metric threads are also available with customised bolt lengths and supplied complete with a special 100% crack detected prevailing torque type locking nut and washer to DIN 980-V.

All load capacities, categorised by the method of lifting, number of legs and angle of inclination are contained in a table that forms an integral part of the operating manual included with each lifting point.
