Braid On Braid Polyester

Braid-on-Braid Polyester is a great all-around rope. It’s comfortable to handle, easy to splice, and built to perform. Featuring a low-stretch braided polyester core and a durable, abrasion-resistant braided polyester cover, this rope is heat-set under tension after braiding to further minimize stretch. It’s perfect for halyards, sheets, control lines, and a variety of general-purpose uses.

Polyester has a specific gravity of 1.38, so it does not float. It maintains its strength when wet, offers excellent flexibility and has strong resistance to abrasion. Additionally, polyester fibers are resistant to many chemicals and have a high melting point of 295°C.
