50kg BBC Spec Black Safety Bond

A luminaire safety bond is a secondary support used to prevent a light fitting from falling if its main fixing fails. Commonly used in theatres, events, and suspended lighting setups, it attaches the luminaire securely to a fixed structure as a backup safety measure. It’s essential for compliance and public safety, especially in overhead installations. BBC spec safety bonds have a soft eye one end, thimble eye onto hook the other end, with a centre loop.

Once installed, the luminaire should be secured as tightly as possible, ensuring that any potential fall does not exceed 200mm.
